Monitored Smoke Detector vs. Non Monitored

A non monitored detector senses a fire and signals an alarm activating an alert sound throughout your home. If nobody's home or near the residence to call 911, a non monitored detector does very little to protect your home. A monitored detector senses a fire developing, and signals an alarm control, which activates the evacuation horn throughout the residence and sends a fire alarm signal to the monitoring station. A monitored detector will provide fire protection whether you are home or away.

We install detectors on every level of your home, including basements. Many fatal fires begin late at night or in the early morning. For extra safety, install smoke detectors both inside and outside the sleeping area.
